Good evening Ladies,
Hope all is well. I am Lanisha living in Florida. I am a Wife and Mother of 4 (total). If all goes as planned, July 2019 will be my second go around of taking the LSAT. My first time taking the LSAT was in February 2015. I didn't know then as much as I know now. Therefore, that score was not good at all. That exam was a struggle for me. During that time of my previous attempt, I was either working full-time in a law firm under a husband an wife managed firm or working as a Legal Assistant (Administrative Assistant) in State Government (under six attorneys). I was a single mother then with a teenager going thru the blues, a six year-old, and unsupported family and friends. I scored a 140 at that time in which the average at that time was 155. Because of that I decided to wait until I tried again. I realized that it was not in Gods timing for me to take that exam then. I never gave up on my dreams of becoming a lawyer. Now married, a less stressful job, and my children being older; I feel that now is the time for me try again and pray for anything greater than a 155. Right now I am more determined that ever to get a step closer to becoming a future JD.
On that note, I am looking forward to sharing our goals, accomplishments, or any inspiration that is needed to help us all get to where we want to be as we pursue our dream career in Law. If there is anything that I can do to help and vice versa, then please don't hesitate to reach out.
